Our historic DTF transfer is evolving and becoming the DTF PRO transfer.
This evolution is based on in-depth work: we have reworked the color profile with our experts to push the capabilities of the CMYK spectrum to the best.
The manufacturing process, print fineness, durability, flexibility and application conditions remain the same. DTF PRO simply allows you to reproduce a slightly wider range of colors than our previous DTF transfer.
At the same time, we are launching DTF PRO MAX. This solution goes even further thanks to a significantly expanded color spectrum and particularly high-end print quality.

What is DTF PRO transfer?
The DTF PRO is our new generation of professional DTF transfer. It replaces our historical DTF transfer with an optimized CMYK color profile, capable of reproducing a slightly wider color range.
Developed and printed in our workshop in France, DTF PRO retains the same technical characteristics: fineness, flexibility, durability and application conditions. Only color management evolves to achieve more faithful and more consistent DTF printing.

Why did we improve our DTF transfer?
Pioneers of DTF in France, we have been working with this technology since its arrival on the French market.
Our production facility, composed of more than 50 print heads, now allows us to produce DTF transfers on a large scale while maintaining very strong color management control.
Color reproduction is one of the main challenges of DTF printing.
Files are generally created and displayed on a screen in an RGB color space. This can display more colors than traditional printing systems.
During printing, certain shades must therefore be adapted to the colors actually reproducible by the printer.
For several years, our teams have been conducting significant research, adjustment and calibration work in order to align each piece of equipment with maximum precision.
This technical mastery, combined with the development of our new internal color management software, now allows us to go even further.
We can harmonize our large-scale production, more precisely exploit the capabilities of our machines and offer increasingly consistent, intense and faithful DTF print quality.
Our objective is simple: improve color reproduction, without modifying the technical characteristics and application habits of our DTF transfer.

What's the difference between the old DTF and DTF PRO?
The only difference between our previous DTF transfer and the new PRO DTF concerns the color profile.
PRO DTF benefits from a slightly wider profile.
It can thus reproduce certain shades that were previously more difficult to obtain or that had to be further adjusted during printing.
Everything else remains the same.
The switch to PRO DTF is therefore not a complete technology change.
It is a color optimization of our historic DTF transfer.

DTF PRO: what's the difference from a standard DTF transfer?
A slightly wider color gamut
The main advantage of DTF PRO is its ability to reproduce a slightly wider color range.
Certain shades can thus be better reproduced during printing.
A better interpretation of certain files
The new color profile allows for better processing of certain colors present in logos, illustrations, or photographs.
The benefit depends directly on the file provided. Not all visuals will necessarily show a visible difference.
No change in application methods
The DTF PRO transfer is applied exactly like our previous DTF transfer.
There is no need to modify the temperature, pressure or pressing time usually recommended.
The same technical specifications
The flexibility, resistance, fineness and feel of the transfer remain identical.
DTF PRO thus maintains the reliability of our historic transfer while offering slightly superior color rendering capacity.

Do all prints benefit from the new profile?
No. The benefit of DTF PRO depends on the colors present in the file.
A black and white logo, simple text, or a visual made up of colors already perfectly reproducible with our previous profile will show little or no difference.
The improvement will be more visible on certain files containing colors at the edge of the previous color space.
DTF PRO does not transform the colors in the file. It simply allows you to reproduce a slightly wider range when the visual can benefit from it.
Going even further: the DTF PRO MAX 8 colors
The DTF PRO MAX is a different solution from the DTF PRO.
3 major advantages:
- an expanded color spectrum
- better print resolution (very low grain)
- deeper blacks
The DTF PRO uses a CMYK profile slightly wider than our previous DTF transfer.
The DTF PRO MAX, on the other hand, works with 8 colors and is based on a significantly wider gamut, capable of reproducing certain colors outside the possibilities of traditional CMYK.
DTF PRO MAX can be particularly useful for files containing:
- very bright greens;
- intense oranges;
- highly saturated colors;
- certain hues difficult to reproduce in CMYK.
These colors may be visible on an RGB screen, but lose some of their intensity during standard printing.
The expanded spectrum of DTF PRO MAX allows you to retain more of their brightness and saturation.
DTF PRO or DTF PRO MAX: what's the difference and which to choose?
DTF PRO is our reference transfer. It is suitable for the vast majority of files and now benefits from a slightly wider color profile.
DTF PRO MAX is designed for more demanding projects, particularly when the file colors exceed the capabilities of standard CMYK printing.

It's not always possible to tell with the naked eye whether a file can benefit from DTF PRO MAX.
A color may appear very vibrant on a screen without actually being outside the CMYK spectrum. Conversely, some out-of-spectrum hues can be difficult to identify without specialized software.
