Textile sublimation transfer
Sublimation is a transfer printing technique using special inks to transfer designs from transfer paper onto textiles. The design, printed on the paper with sublimation inks, can be transferred through the heat of a heat press. The inks then transition from a solid to a gaseous state, bonding permanently to the textile. Primarily suited for polyester textiles or those with a special coating, this method ensures high-precision printing with no loss of detail or color alteration, even after multiple washes. Ideal for sportswear and promotional items, sublimation preserves the breathable and water-repellent properties of fabrics like polyester, while offering an imperceptible feel.

Sublimated polyester
Does not alter breathable and water-repellent properties
Which textile materials is sublimation transfer compatible with?
100% Polyester
Blend: Polyester (80% minimum) and other fibers
Sublimation transfer is perfect for polyester, which allows optimal ink adhesion. It is also effective on non-textile materials with a polymer coating, and can be applied to polyester-rich blended fabrics as well as clear nylon, guaranteeing vibrant and durable colors every time.
âĄïž Polyester: polyester is the most commonly used material for sublimation because ink can easily bond to its synthetic fibers. It is ideal for vibrant and durable colors.
âĄïž Blended fabrics: blended fabrics containing a high proportion of polyester can also be used for sublimation, but the presence of cotton or other fibers will reduce color intensity. The higher the polyester content, the better the quality of the sublimation transfer.
