What is a 3D patch?
In short: a 3D badge (or 3D patch) adds tactile relief to marking. At Sherpa, Select 3D combines a matte base and glossy relief varnish positioned zone by zone; Mono 3D focuses on monochrome relief in black or white, often more affordable in price.

When to choose it (and when not to) ?
Choose 3D if you want modern volume, texture contrast, or an alternative to embroidery / imported PVC.
Prefer print if the file is ultra-detailed (photo, micro-text) and relief is not a priority (→ printed patches).
Prefer engraved if you're aiming for a leather/cork texture effect (→ engraved patches).
Limitations: this is not waterproof injected PVC "tactical"; for a very complex photo logo, validate the Select vs sublimated finish. Embroidery remains a different aesthetic (thread) — coming soon to France.

What is the difference between Select 3D and Mono 3D?
Select 3D = colors + selective relief varnish. Mono 3D = monochrome relief in black or white, often more accessible.
Select 3D = 3D PVC patch?
No. PVC/silicone is molded (often imported). Select 3D uses selective varnish, manufactured in France from 10 units.
3D or embroidered patch?
3D offers modern relief available now. Embroidery (classic thread) coming soon; in the meantime: sublimated + cord or 3D.
